I wintered at Palmer Station in 83', Pole Station in  86' and 91' What are you looking for in it all? any meaning? none to be learned other than life is what you make of it, nothing more, nothing less.

I wintered over at McMurdo Station Oct 02, 1990 to Oct 07 1991.  Great experience and one of my favorite tours so far in my Navy career.

Wintered in 95. I'd say it was a good experience. Definitely a learning experience in regards to how weird personalities can get in such a closed-in situation. Personally, I remember having the most vivid dreams during the height of darkness. Glad to have gone through it, but once is enough.

Didn't winter over, but nighted over! Deep Freeze 95! flew a C-5 in to deliver the summer teams and equipment! Loved every minute of it, worked on the instrument approaches for the USN. Greatest experience of my life outside of kids and family!
