Is it safe to use my credit card?
Yes, shopping at The Antarctic Connection is safe.   We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to ensure more than adequate data encryption of your personal and credit card information.  If you feel more comfortable, you can always mail in or call in your order to us.

What form of payment do you accept?
Online, by phone, or by mail we accept MasterCard and Visa, American Express, and Discover.   For mail in orders we accept the same credit cards in addition to Bank Checks and Personal checks.  All prices stated are in $US dollars.

What do you charge for shipping?
Before the final checkout when you place an order, our system automatically displays the shipping charges for your review.

When will my order be shipped?
We make every attempt to ship orders on the next business day.  In some instances, such as during a promotion, this may not always be possible. We will ship your order as soon as possible and notify you if there is going to be an excessive delay.  Delivery to your shipping address will vary depending on your location and shipping method you choose at check out.

What about your returns policy?
Within 30 days of receipt of your order you may return:
*  any book in its original condition.
*  any unopened CD-ROM or Video.
*  any other merchandise item in new condition, with its original packaging and accessories.
We will issue a full refund for the price of any item you return that meets these conditions.  We will refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error.

Do you accept exchanges?
We will accept exchanges for items in new condition with a receipt. Customers will be responsible for return shipping charges.

What about back orders?
If we are sold out of an item or it is temporarily unavailable we make every attempt to remove the product from our website until it is back in stock or available. We will make every attempt to contact you if all or part of your order is back ordered.

What format are your videocassettes?
All our videos are the NTSC 60 Hz format that is used in North America.  These tapes will not play on most video machines in Europe or other countries that use PAL, SECAM, or other video standards.

Do you give out my personal information to anyone?
With the exception of 'in-house' purposes and the necessary steps to process your order, it is our policy to never give out any customer information to any third party.
